This game Hong Kong Casino Kid was released in Japan as “100 Man $ Kid: Maboroshi no Teikohen” which translates to Million Dollar Kid – Phantom Lord. It came to Japan in October 1988 and released in Worldwide as Hong Kong Casino Kid a year later. It was published and developed by Sofel. A sequel was released around April of 1993(Worldwide only).

The Worldwide game takes place in Las Vegas(changed to Lost Wages due to copyright) where the main character is to earn lots of money and to defeat the evil King of the Hong Kong Casino. Games at the Hong Kong Casino include blackjack and v-card draw poker. In the Japanese version, it was possible to travel to other Online Casinos Hong Kong like New York City and Japan for a substantial airfare cost. You can only play the slots in the Japanese version.
