38 Dead, 70 Injured After Fiery Hong Kong Casino Robbery

At least 38 people died and more than 70 others injured after a lone gunman opened flaming and set gambling tables ablaze, at the largest integrated resort in the Philippines, before today.

Police claim the incident to be a failed robbery attempt involving an emotionally disturbed individual, while officials suggest that the attack cannot be attributed to terrorism.

The attacker, who remains unidentified, later committed suicide.
